Slow Cooker Cookbooks

I'm a basic ingredients type of slow cooker cook, rather than a open packets or cans and stir, type of slow cooker cook.  So I really like the "Not Your Mother's Slow Cooker" Cookbook series.

If you would like to read a review on the this series, follow the link to Not Your Mother's Slow Cooker Cookbook Review here.

I recently came across Slow Cooker Revolution I thoroughly enjoyed reading the process the team at America's Test Kitchen went through to create the recipes, tricks and tips that made it to the published book.  As a veteran slow cooker cook, I was impressed with two tips they share in the book that I will use always now!  Make sure you get a copy and discover their secrets yourself.

I'm a health conscious cook, and I also really enjoy making some of the recipes from  The Everyday Low Carb Slow Cooker Cookbook, especially the Seafood Crustless Quiche when I have company stopping by for lunch.

When I am looking for a bit of inspiration, I always reach for The Gourmet Slow Cooker: Simple and Sophisticated Meals from Around the World - it always gives me an great recipe, or an idea so I can go and create something totally delicious - my favorite recipe is the Midas Feast.

Around the Holidays, it is handy to have a copy of Slow Cookers for Dummies in the kitchen - this book has loads of recipes to help you do something interesting and tasty with all that left over turkey - so much so that you'll be happy to buy an extra turkey when we see the manager's marked down sale after the Thanksgiving rush!

There are more slow cooker cookbooks reviewed on my website too - Slow Cooker Cookbooks - enjoy!
